The force is strong with this one

This project has been brewing since a while. We even wanted to write down the ideas, cause Matteo had more of them than fingers on one hand :-)

Finally the combination of sunset, being at the right location at the right time, plus the mood was all in place.

So yeah, the force is strong with this one.

We were rewarded with golden light and pretty sky.
The playground nearby destroyed our plans for more silhouette photos. So more might come, if Matteo wants to implement his ideas.

For now, this is what we have, plus lots of pretty sky, and sea, and golden cowlick :-)

Tentsmuir forest

We do not roam the woods oft enough. We like beaches, true - all year around. We live 10 min walk away from one. Still it's not an excuse enough to ignore the woods, something to work on. We finally made it to Tentsmuir on a crisp October day. We roamed the dunes, ended up on the beach (again :-), and made our way back to the trees. It was full of autumn smells, yellow leaves, mushrooms, golden trees and the quiet.   It was full of tree climbing, treasure hunting, stick collecting and stick walking, mushroom watching, path running, log walking and all the fun.  To be continued - for I made too many nice photos to squeeze in one post :-)

All the sweet things...

that happen in the kitchen. Cookies, cakes, fingers in the batter and chocolate. Everything gets tasted, and eventually eaten. Sometimes it includes the poor plate, or a bowl, or a random piece of table. Especially if you are the one stuck with baby biscuits and porridge, and no cake.   Ok, here comes the cake. It was mentioned here some days ago. And the cake maker. The cake maker was very good and patient with changing light and camera settings. The cake, chocolaty and fruity with nice sour note of raspberries, softness of ricotta and creamy chocolate ganache. And it is all gone :-) P.S. All the sweets mentioned in this post, have been successfully eaten. The bowl and the table are still there.

Beach fun / Family photographer in St-Andrews

Beach is fun all year around. And we had the cutest little explorer. We went to Maiden rock beach for this family session, just a short walk from East Sands. And we had lots of rocks to explore, shells to collect and sand to play, and driftwood tree to climb. This girl and her flyaway hair!  Here are some more of my favourites from this session. What inspires me

Botanical Gardens. Boys' style

A walk in Botanical Gardens of St Andrews with a little boy. Forget about appreciating creative landscape design, enjoying alpine terraces and the pond, admiring cacti collection and finding all the spring flowers. This is about run, hide, find something interesting, invent games and more run. Some good finds. What can we do with them? A boat? I am a bit skeptical here. Nope, did not swim the right way. Some major engineering work to do. For some other story :-)
